Greatly Reduced Pad Wear
Brembo NAO Pads represent our street-oriented pad for everyday use. Long service life and reduced pad wear are two attributes we have recognized as key for this type of application.
We have built a pad that can withstand frequent braking experienced during an average commute, thus giving you improved braking performance for longer.
Reduced Levels of Noise and Vibration
Comfort is an important part of commuting, which is why our NAO ceramic pads are designed to reduce the overall levels of noise as well as vibrations coming from the brake system.
We have achieved this by using a combination of advanced friction materials and special ”Brembo Red” multi-layered shims. Together, these two components dampen vibrations and neutralize most of the noise occurring during braking.
Reduced Brake Dust
Brembo NAO ceramic pads contain no ferrous material while the overall concentration of other metals is also low.
As a result, NAO pads produce low amounts of brake dust, meaning that you won’t have to clean your wheels as often.
High-Carbon Rotors that Meet and Exceed OE Specs
High Carbon (HC) portion of our aftermarket range offer a sporty alternative to the OEM part with several added benefits. HC rotors greatly reduce noise and improve overall comfort during use.
It all comes down to the proprietary cast iron alloy that is high in carbon and helps achieve the high damping coefficient that HC rotors are known for.
Pillar Ventilating (PVT) System for Optimal Thermal Exchange
Brembo rotors that feature our PVT technology offer 40% more resistance to thermal cracks.
By using pillars instead of standard vanes, we have managed to improve the cooling of the disc, greatly prevent thermal crack propagation and increase the overall thermal exchange surface.
With PVT, you can count on better performance under heavy braking.
One Step Further with PVT Plus
We have gone a step further with our latest PVT Plus series of rotors.
This design represents the evolution of the PVT technology and is utilizing the improved cross-shaped pillars.
Each type of rotor comes with its own, unique pillar geometry, ensuring the best possible cooling performance for its size, weight and application.
